# 014 — Dashboards UI
|

|
|
## Summary
|
|
|
|
Replace the current "Coming Soon" Dashboards placeholder with a Grafana-style
|
|
dashboard builder: bar, line, and pie charts backed by PromQL queries, saved as part
|
|
of a profile.
|
|
|
|
## Scope
|
|
|
|
- Chart components for bar/line/pie (pick a charting lib — none is currently in
|
|
`webapp/package.json`).
|
|
- Dashboard = a named set of panels, each with a PromQL query
|
|
([013](013-dashboards-promql.md)) and a chart type.
|
|
- Save/load dashboards as part of the active profile
|
|
([009](009-presets-profiles.md)), so they persist across restarts.
|
|
- Dashboard panels respect the app's active time range, same as LogTimeline/
|
|
LogPreview.
|
|
|
|
## Acceptance criteria
|
|
|
|
- Creating a panel with a PromQL query against a real declared metric renders the
|
|
correct chart type with live data.
|
|
- Dashboards persist across restart via the active profile.
|
|
- Panels re-query and update when the global time range changes.
|
|
|
|
